I live in hope that one day, everything will be alright. However bad the days get, however hostile people
become. I live in hope that one day everything will be alright. When I was young, I expected everything to
be alright all the time, but the rabbit died, and my friends moved away.
Mother travelled and her days away made me feel empty. It was nice when she came back, and
everything became alright again.
Today I am grown up, and it seems things are not working the way I wished they would. People are
horrible, unkind and say hurtful things. Friends misunderstand and the car broke down on the motor way
on an icy cold morning.
As I waited to be rescued by the AA, I waited in hope, that when they came everything would be alright.
Though, cold, frozen, and confused by the time they arrived.
Being towed along the motorway was not a pleasant experience, but I got home at last, and after a nice
cup to tea and a warm bath, everything become alright.
So, when things hurt and I cry, I hide my tears from those I don’t want to upset. Because I know that soon
by God’s Grace alone, everything will be alright. That is why I choose not to let go of hope because if I
do, nothing will be alright, and I will have nothing to live for.
